SkyHelix Sentosa sits at Imbiah Lookout, near the top of Sentosa's central hill, and is an open-air rotating gondola that lifts a ring of seated passengers into the air for a slow turn above the island.
One ticket, one ride on the open-air rotating gondola, and it includes a free drink or a souvenir.
Buy direct from the operator, not through Sentosa's own site. The same adult ticket is S$10.20 on Mount Faber Leisure's site while the current promotion runs, against S$18 through sentosa.com.sg. That is a S$7.80 difference for an identical ride.
Minimum height 1.05m. Anyone between 1.05m and 1.2m, or aged twelve and under, needs a supervising adult, and everyone must be able to fasten the safety belt — there is a test seat on site.
Not suitable if you are pregnant, afraid of heights, prone to motion sickness or have limited mobility. It is a fully open gondola with your feet dangling.
Hats, bags, umbrellas, glass, loose clothing, outside food and pets are all barred from the ride.
Because Imbiah is already on high ground, the ride reaches about 79 metres above sea level while only rising roughly 35 metres off the ground itself, and the full experience runs about twelve minutes. It opens daily from 8:45am to 10pm, with last boarding at 9:30pm. Standard gate tickets are around S$20 for adults and S$17 for children, though booking online is usually far cheaper, and each ticket comes with a choice of one non-alcoholic drink or a small souvenir.
It is a five-minute walk from Madame Tussauds and the other Imbiah Lookout attractions. Take the Sentosa Express to Imbiah station and walk about five minutes up Imbiah Road; drivers should use the Imbiah Lookout car park beside Madame Tussauds rather than the beach car parks lower down.
Buying at the gate is close to double the online price — the same ticket is regularly listed online for roughly half the S$20 walk-up rate, so book before you arrive rather than paying at the counter. Note too that the free inclusion is one or the other: you pick either the drink or the souvenir, not both, and it does not apply to bundled or package tickets.
One ticket, one ride on the open-air rotating gondola, and it includes a free drink or a souvenir. Flip the stubs to your rate; every price includes the resident lines most sites leave out.
The operator's own discounted online rate — currently S$9.80 off.
The free drink or souvenir is not included on bundles, and is excluded from the current promotional price. Redeem it the same day at the SkyHelix snack bar or the cable car gift shop.

Southwest Monsoon
June to September
Short, sharp early-morning showers and occasional squall lines. Drier overall than the northeast wet phase.
The other good window. Rain tends to arrive early and clear, leaving usable afternoons. This is also when haze can occur, which is worth checking rather than assuming.
