the short version

No accounts. Nothing measured or advertised until you say yes.

Last updated 2026-08-04

This site has no login and no database of visitors. It currently runs no advertising and no analytics script at all, and every page is already built so that when one arrives it starts switched off rather than switched on. We can't build a profile of you because we never collect the material to build one from. What follows is the honest detail, including the third parties your browser contacts.

What we collect ourselves

Nothing you type is stored. There is no account system, no newsletter signup, and no contact form — contact is a plain email address, so writing to us is the only way we learn who you are, and then only what you put in the email.

We set no cookies and store nothing in your browser's local storage. Any day plan you build lives in the page while it's open and disappears when you close the tab.

Cookies, advertising, and the default that is already in place

There is no advertising on this site today and no cookie banner, because there is nothing yet to ask you about. We are applying to show ads, though, and rather than wait until that day to think about consent, the refusal is already built into every page.

Each page declares all four Google Consent Mode signals as denied in its <head>, before any other script on the page. You can check this yourself: view the source of any page here and it is the first script you meet.

SignalDenied here, which means we do not permit
ad_storageStoring anything on your device for advertising, including an ad cookie.
ad_user_dataSending your data on to Google for advertising purposes.
ad_personalizationUsing your activity to choose which ad you see.
analytics_storageStoring anything on your device to measure how the site is used.

The ordering is the part that matters. A tag loaded above that block is not governed by it, and no consent dialog added later can undo data already sent — which is the usual way a site leaks information before asking. Putting the denial first closes that gap permanently.

All four are denied for every visitor, not only those in Europe. Deciding who to ask would mean looking your location up in order to work out whether you are entitled to be asked about privacy, which is self-defeating. So we skip the lookup and deny by default for everyone.

When advertising does go live, the consent prompt will come from a Google-certified consent management platform rather than something we wrote ourselves — a home-made banner cannot be certified, and for advertising in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland certification is the whole point. We will name the provider on this page, describe the cookies it sets, and say how to change your answer, before the first ad appears rather than after.

Hosting logs

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data — your IP address, the page requested, your browser's user-agent, and timing — to serve the page and to block abuse. That data is handled under Cloudflare's own privacy terms. We don't have a per-visitor analytics dashboard and don't attempt to identify anyone from it.

What you tell us on purpose

  • A place or hotel name typed into the planner is sent to OneMap (Singapore Land Authority) to turn it into coordinates. It is not stored on our side.
  • Your location is only used if you grant the browser permission, and only to work out distances in the page. It is never sent to us or saved.
  • Your computed day plan is sent to Google's Gemini API if — and only if — you ask for the AI written summary. It contains places and times, not your identity. Skip that button and no plan data leaves your browser except to the routing services below.

Third parties your browser contacts

Loading a page here causes requests to these services. Each one necessarily sees your IP address, because that's how the internet delivers a response:

The OneMap, LTA and Gemini calls go through our own server-side proxies so that our API keys stay private. Those proxies pass on your request but do not log it.

Children

The site is a public travel reference and is not directed at children. Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing for a child to submit.

Your rights

Rules like the GDPR and Singapore's PDPA give you the right to see, correct or delete personal data an organisation holds about you. In our case the answer is short: we hold none, beyond any email you have sent us. Ask us to delete that email thread and we will.

Changes

If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top of the page. Substantive changes will be described here rather than quietly swapped in.
