Rainforest Wild Asia is a walk-through wildlife park at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, next to the Singapore Zoo, that pairs animal enclosures with adventure activities on and above the forest floor.

It opened in March 2025 and runs daily from 9am to 6pm, with last entry at 5pm. Admission is ticketed — around S$50 on the opening rate, regularly S$55 — and the ground-level route past the animals plus a set of built-in activities such as canopy gliders, a ravine swing and jumps are covered by that ticket, so a full day is possible without paying more. The harnessed climbing and caving routes are the exception and cost extra.

It sits in the same Mandai cluster as Night Safari and River Wonders, a short walk or shuttle hop apart. From Khatib MRT (NS14) leave by Exit A to the passenger pick-up point for the Mandai Khatib Shuttle (the M2 bus), which runs about every 15 minutes, costs S$2.50, and takes roughly 20 minutes to the reserve.

★ WORTH KNOWING

The standard ticket does not cover the two harnessed routes — Wild Apex (high climbing) and Wild Cavern (caving), sold together as the paid Black Adventures — which carry their own age and fitness limits and a separate charge. If those are the reason you are going, book them ahead rather than turning up expecting to add them on the day, and note that Singapore residents get a lower rate through a WildPass, claimed with ID.
