It is a working hotel rather than a ticketed attraction, so there is nothing to buy at a gate — the point of it is staying inside the reserve, a short shuttle or walk from Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders, Bird Paradise and the new Rainforest Wild Asia. Accommodation runs from standard rooms to elevated treehouse and longhouse units set among the canopy, with a free-form pool and restaurants on site.

Because it sits within the reserve and not on a public street, most guests arrive on the free Mandai Khatib Shuttle from Khatib MRT or by car. It makes most sense as a base for two or more of the Mandai parks across a couple of days rather than a single day trip.

The resort's real advantage is proximity: staying here puts you inside the reserve before the day-trippers arrive, so you can be first into Bird Paradise or Rainforest Wild Asia at opening. Rates are hotel-priced and swing widely by date and room type, so treat any headline number as a starting point and check Banyan Tree's own booking page for the night you want — a stay-plus-park package is usually better value than booking the hotel and tickets separately.
