新加坡河（Singapore River）穿過市政區，分三段，各有各的性格：駁船碼頭（Boat Quay）擠滿店屋餐館，就在萊佛士坊下方；克拉碼頭（Clarke Quay）往上游一點，是酒吧夜店一條街；羅伯遜碼頭（Robertson Quay）再往西，安靜得多，更偏居住區。

Clarke Quay's covered blocks are a privately managed dining complex inside the public quay, and each venue sets its own hours — some are late-night only. There is no single "Clarke Quay opening time", whatever other sites print.
沿河的步道隨便走、老橋隨便過，都不花錢，多數人來這兒就是為了在水邊吃頓飯、拍拍照。唯一要付費的是遊船（bumboat）河上巡遊，每天上午10點半到晚上9點運營，全程約40分鐘，成人SGD 28，3到11歲兒童SGD 18。船從克拉碼頭、Read Bridge和Clifford Pier的碼頭出發，一路開到河口，經過魚尾獅，駛入濱海灣。
這裡離魚尾獅和萊佛士坊都只有幾分鐘路。坐地鐵到Clarke Quay站（東北線，E出口）出來就在主要的遊船碼頭邊上；去駁船碼頭改坐到萊佛士坊，去羅伯遜碼頭最近的是濱海市區線的福康寧（Fort Canning）站。
新加坡本地居民在碼頭出示身份證（NRIC）能買到折扣船票，但只限現場購買——在網上預訂就得付全價SGD 28。如果你只想看風景、不在乎講解，這些船其實也是點對點的"水上計程車"；而在駁船碼頭找個露臺餐位吃飯，花一頓飯的錢就能看到一模一樣的水景。
