新加坡河（Singapore River）穿过市政区，分三段，各有各的性格：驳船码头（Boat Quay）挤满店屋餐馆，就在莱佛士坊下方；克拉码头（Clarke Quay）往上游一点，是酒吧夜店一条街；罗伯逊码头（Robertson Quay）再往西，安静得多，更偏居住区。
出发前，有 1 件事要先知道
Clarke Quay's covered blocks are a privately managed dining complex inside the public quay, and each venue sets its own hours — some are late-night only. There is no single "Clarke Quay opening time", whatever other sites print.
沿河的步道随便走、老桥随便过，都不花钱，多数人来这儿就是为了在水边吃顿饭、拍拍照。唯一要付费的是游船（bumboat）河上巡游，每天上午10点半到晚上9点运营，全程约40分钟，成人SGD 28，3到11岁儿童SGD 18。船从克拉码头、Read Bridge和Clifford Pier的码头出发，一路开到河口，经过鱼尾狮，驶入滨海湾。
这里离鱼尾狮和莱佛士坊都只有几分钟路。坐地铁到Clarke Quay站（东北线，E出口）出来就在主要的游船码头边上；去驳船码头改坐到莱佛士坊，去罗伯逊码头最近的是滨海市区线的福康宁（Fort Canning）站。
新加坡本地居民在码头出示身份证（NRIC）能买到折扣船票，但只限现场购买——在网上预订就得付全价SGD 28。如果你只想看风景、不在乎讲解，这些船其实也是点对点的"水上出租车"；而在驳船码头找个露台餐位吃饭，花一顿饭的钱就能看到一模一样的水景。
