There is no timed entry. Buy online, at a self-service kiosk, or at a Visitor Services counter — and every ticket stays valid for 180 days from purchase, so an unused one is not wasted. Citizens and PRs do not buy a ticket at all; they present NRIC or Singpass.

The UOB Southeast Asia Gallery — the Gallery's headline permanent collection — is closed for redevelopment and does not reopen until late 2027. Works from the National Collection are shown elsewhere in the building instead.
There is no named special exhibition running at the moment: the Singtel Special Exhibition Galleries say only "more information coming soon". The S$25 Special Exhibition ticket is therefore poor value today — general admission at S$20 is the sensible buy until a show is announced.
Passion is Volcanic is rated R18 and can only be bought at the counter, not online. Under-18s are refused.
開放時間為週日到週四上午10點到晚上7點，週五、週六及公共假期前夕延長到晚上10點；兩間舊法庭——包括原最高法院的審判庭——都保留了下來，作為展廳的一部分供人參觀。建築本身和藏品一樣值得看：那座圓頂大廳和大理石樓梯都是當年的原件，不是後來的仿建。它位於民事區（Civic District）邊緣，正對大草場（Padang）。
樓頂酒吧和麵朝大草場的露臺不用美術館門票就能上去，所以就算不為看展買票，來這兒看看景、看看這棟樓也是一站免費的好去處——預算或時間緊的時候很實用。
