The carte blanche changes constantly, so these are examples; the longer menus show off the most range.
There is no conventional a la carte: you pick a menu length, flag any allergies or dislikes in advance, and the kitchen sends a seasonal, changing sequence built on classical French technique with unexpected Japanese and Southeast Asian turns. The open kitchen gives the room a chef's-table feel.
Christophe Lerouy is from Alsace and grew up in a restaurant family. He trained under Christian Le Squer, Guy Martin and the Pourcel brothers, cooked across Los Angeles, Shanghai, Marrakech and Abu Dhabi, and earned a star as chef de cuisine of Alma in Singapore before opening his own room. The team includes sommelier Rouela Deyle, who leans organic and biodynamic.
At 7 Mohamed Sultan Road in River Valley, near UE Square, Robertson Quay and the Singapore River, since the restaurant moved here in 2024. Fort Canning MRT on the Downtown Line is about a six-minute walk; buses 32, 54, 139 and 195 stop at UE Square.
Lunch is three courses at S$108++ or five at S$198++; dinner is four courses at S$158++ or six at S$228++. The whole table picks the same length. The ++ is before service charge and GST.
Book online with a credit-card authorisation, ideally a month ahead for weekends and longer menus, and flag allergies at least three days out. The kitchen cannot do vegan or dairy-free. Cancelling or reducing the party within 72 hours costs S$60 per person at lunch, S$90 at dinner.
Wednesday to Saturday. Lunch noon to 2:00pm (last order 1:45pm), dinner 6:00pm to 11:00pm (last order 8:45pm). Closed Sunday to Tuesday.
Contemporary and slightly industrial, built around the central open kitchen with a small bar — relaxed and intimate, but the food is serious. Neat casual dress; no beachwear or flip-flops. Children 12 and over only, on the same menu.
Lerouy opened on Stanley Street in November 2017 as a 26-seat counter, won its first star in 2019, moved to Mohamed Sultan Road in 2024 and retained the star in 2026.
For modern-French lovers who want informality, an open kitchen to watch and chef-led surprises rather than a set menu — one of the more accessible one-star prices, especially at lunch, and MICHELIN lists it as solo-friendly. Not for vegan or dairy-free diners, or anyone after a la carte or a formal room.
