The Singapore Flyer is a 165-metre observation wheel on the eastern edge of Marina Bay, running daily from 8.30am to 10.30pm with last admission at 10.15pm, and each rotation takes about 30 minutes in an air-conditioned capsule.

One standard ticket covers the whole core experience — the Time Capsule walkthrough plus a single 30-minute rotation. The food-and-drink packages are alternatives to it, not add-ons.

Booking online saves money rather than just time — the cheapest family pricing is online-only. Two practical warnings from the operator: the store limits each card to one transaction per 24 hours, so a family buying several products needs more than one card or more than one day; and tickets from unauthorised resellers are refused at the gate.

The SG61 Buddy Deal runs to 31 Aug 2026: two tickets for S$61 instead of S$92, which is S$30.50 a head against S$46. Singapore citizens and PRs only, and every person in the party must show an NRIC at the gate, not just the buyer. It is the cheapest way onto the wheel and it expires with the month.
SG61 Sip and Soar cuts either the champagne or the cocktail flight from S$79 to S$61 until 31 Aug 2026, with no residency requirement.
The Premium Champagne Experience is 18 and over — the one Singapore Flyer ticket a family cannot use. Oddly, the SG61 promotion lists the same flight as 13 and over; both statements are the operator's own and we have not resolved which governs.
On a clear day the view reaches past the CBD and Marina Bay across the Strait to parts of Malaysia and Indonesia, and at night it's one of the better vantage points over the Gardens by the Bay Supertrees and the Marina Bay Sands skyline.
Capsules can be booked with add-ons like a set dinner or a cocktail experience for a slower, quieter ride. It sits a short walk from Gardens by the Bay across the Bay East Garden.
Sunset slots sell out first and cost more on some ticket tiers — a late-morning or mid-afternoon ride gets the same 360-degree view for less money and a shorter queue.

Singapore Flyer does not run separate tourist and resident storefronts — a visitor and a Singaporean pay the same for the standard adult and child ticket.
The standard flight. The Local Senior price of S$28 is the same as the child price — a 39% cut off the adult fare, and an unusually deep senior discount.
The dinner-in-the-capsule package. The child ticket gets the 90 minutes and the priority boarding but the operator does not list the dinner against it. Smart casual is enforced — shorts, sandals and slippers are refused.
Thirteen and over, with mocktails for under-18s. S$61 this month under the SG61 promotion.
Eighteen and over, with no child rate — the only Singapore Flyer ticket a family cannot use. S$61 this month under the SG61 promotion.
National Day promotion cutting either premium flight from S$79 to S$61. No residency requirement, unlike the Buddy Deal.
