每天上午8點半到下午6點開放，最後售票時間為下午5點半；其中「脆弱森林」雨林穿行區和放養的紅毛猩猩活動區是最有名的看點。它坐落在萬禮野生動物保護區內，緊挨著夜間野生動物園和河川生態園，所以如果一趟行程要逛不止一座園，買多園聯票是最省錢的常規做法。餵食和飼養員講解全天按公佈的時間表進行，把行程安排在其中兩三場附近，這一天會比一路走馬觀花看下來精彩得多。
園內的遊覽車能省下不少腳力，畢竟這地方是真的大，但它並不是每站都停——進門先看一眼遊覽車路線圖，把要看的餵食場次挑在它真正經過的站點附近，別想當然以為它每個園區都到。

Mandai's own wording: Singapore citizens, permanent residents, and holders of an Employment Pass, Work Permit or Dependant's Pass aged 15 and above with a valid Singpass account. Sign-up is verified through Singpass MyInfo. Online you enter your WildPass-registered email; at the counter you may be asked for ID. Non-transferable, and it cannot be stacked with other promotions.
