马来传统文化馆（Malay Heritage Centre）设在苏丹门（Sultan Gate）的甘榜格南王宫（Istana Kampong Gelam）旧址里，这座19世纪中叶的宫殿曾是新加坡马来王室的居所，馆内的展厅梳理了围绕它成长起来的马来穆斯林社群的历史。

建筑经过一轮长时间翻新、自2022年起一直闭馆，如今重新开放，所以常设展厅是全新改造过的，跟老版旅游书里描述的陈列已经不一样。展厅入场对新加坡公民和永久居民免费，外国访客S$10，而周边的庭院和花园则谁都能进、不用票。展厅开放时间为周二到周日上午10点到下午6点，最后入场下午5点半，周一闭馆。
它就在苏丹清真寺后方几分钟脚程处，位于甘榜格南的核心地带。最近的地铁是武吉士站；从通往阿拉伯街（Arab Street）方向的出口出来，沿坎大哈街（Kandahar Street）走约五分钟即到，因为苏丹门在清真寺背后，不在阿拉伯街那排热闹店面临街的一侧。
S$10的外国访客票只包含室内常设展厅；修复后的旧王宫、它的庭院和花园从早上8点到晚上9点免费开放，所以如果你主要想看看这栋建筑和它的园子，完全可以不买票。
