馬來傳統文化館（Malay Heritage Centre）設在蘇丹門（Sultan Gate）的甘榜格南王宮（Istana Kampong Gelam）舊址裡，這座19世紀中葉的宮殿曾是新加坡馬來王室的居所，館內的展廳梳理了圍繞它成長起來的馬來穆斯林社群的歷史。

建築經過一輪長時間翻新、自2022年起一直閉館，如今重新開放，所以常設展廳是全新改造過的，跟老版旅遊書裡描述的陳列已經不一樣。展廳入場對新加坡公民和永久居民免費，外國訪客S$10，而周邊的庭院和花園則誰都能進、不用票。展廳開放時間為週二到週日上午10點到下午6點，最後入場下午5點半，週一閉館。
它就在蘇丹清真寺後方幾分鐘腳程處，位於甘榜格南的核心地帶。最近的地鐵是武吉士站；從通往阿拉伯街（Arab Street）方向的出口出來，沿坎大哈街（Kandahar Street）走約五分鐘即到，因為蘇丹門在清真寺背後，不在阿拉伯街那排熱鬧店面臨街的一側。
S$10的外國訪客票只包含室內常設展廳；修復後的舊王宮、它的庭院和花園從早上8點到晚上9點免費開放，所以如果你主要想看看這棟建築和它的園子，完全可以不買票。
