它离星耀樟宜（Jewel Changi Airport）开车不远，两处可以凑成往东这一趟。门口没有地铁：坐滨海市区线（Downtown Line）到上樟宜站（Upper Changi，DT34）再转2路巴士，或搭2路、29路到走五分钟就到的站，5路则要走上十分钟。
最常犯的错是周一跑来——它和新加坡多数景点不同，逢周一闭馆（公共假日除外），周二到周日开放，上午9点半到下午5点半，最后入场5点。还要注意，很多人满心想看的那些战时樟宜壁画（Changi Murals），这里展出的是复制品；由战俘沃伦（Stanley Warren）所绘、幸存下来的原作，还在仍在使用的樟宜监狱内部，只有偶尔开放、需提前预约的导览才进得去。
