龜嶼（Kusu Island）是南部群島（Southern Islands）裡的一座小島，從濱海南碼頭（Marina South Pier）坐渡輪過去，多數人跑這一趟是為了拜拜，而不是看風景：靠近碼頭有一座1923年建的華人廟，供奉大伯公和觀音；小島後方的山上，爬完152級臺階，是三座馬來聖墓（kramat）。
出發前，有 5 件事要先知道
The last ferry from Kusu back to Marina South Pier is 4.15pm on weekdays, and overnight stays and camping are prohibited. Missing it is a genuine problem, not an inconvenience.
There is no ferry from Kusu across to St John's or Lazarus. The route runs Marina South Pier, then Lazarus and St John's, then Kusu, then back — so you cannot do Kusu first and hop across.
Tickets are strictly non-refundable, weekend departures can be delayed, and the operator advises against arriving at the pier after 3pm at weekends.
During the Kusu pilgrimage season — the ninth lunar month, roughly October into November — thousands of devotees visit and the island is extremely crowded. Go deliberately for the atmosphere, or avoid it entirely.
Very limited facilities and no food outlets to rely on. Bring water, food and sun protection; there is little shade.
坐 Singapore Island Cruise 的渡輪過去大約半小時，船票預設是往返票，所以買一次就行，回程可以搭之後任意一班船。上島和進廟都不收錢，你只付船錢。每年農曆九月有一個月，全島擠滿香客，渡輪會按加開的特別班次執行。同一條渡輪航線也停聖約翰島（St John's）和姐妹島（Lazarus），所以很多人會把龜嶼和在姐妹島游泳或散步安排在同一趟出行裡。
坐南北線（North-South Line）到濱海南碼頭站（Marina South Pier，這條線的南端終點站），在碼頭櫃臺買渡輪票，或提前到 islandcruise.com.sg 網上訂——朝拜季以及週末下午3點之後，排長隊的是買票的櫃檯，不是上船。
最有用的一點，是船票價格會隨日曆變。2025年龜嶼朝拜季（10月21日至11月19日）期間，成人往返票工作日是16新元，週末和公共假期則是22新元，1到12歲兒童全程一律12新元——所以挑工作日去，既便宜又清靜得多，因為週末人最多。島上不許過夜、不許帶寵物，也沒有靠得住的商店，所以自己帶足水和食物，並按最後一班回程渡輪的時間安排行程。

The other good window. Rain tends to arrive early and clear, leaving usable afternoons. This is also when haze can occur, which is worth checking rather than assuming.
