武吉知馬自然保護區（Bukit Timah Nature Reserve）是島嶼西北部一片163公頃的原始雨林，環抱著武吉知馬山，這座山海拔163米，是新加坡天然的最高點。

Demolition works at the summit run from July 2026 to March 2028 — expect the summit area to be fenced or disrupted. Check NParks the week you go.
The long-tailed macaques here are habituated and bold. Do not carry visible food or a plastic bag, and never feed them.
A steep, humid climb with no shops or drink stalls on the trails. Carry your own water and wear covered shoes.
No pets anywhere in the nature reserve. Wheelchair access is limited to the visitor centre and its toilet block — the trails are not accessible.
免費入內，保護區每天上午7點到晚上7點開放，遊客中心的時間短一些，從上午8點半到下午5點。多數人來是沿鋪好的Summit Trail走到山頂再折返，或者走從它分出去的、更長的林中環線；不過山頂區域正在進行拆除與修復工程，一直到2026年3月，那一帶出入受限，別處的步道照常開放。這裡是少數還能看到當年覆蓋全島的那片森林的地方，成群的長尾獼猴很難不注意到。它離Beauty World地鐵站不遠，與隔壁的Hindhede自然公園同屬一片。
遊客中心的停車場很小——只有83個車位——週六週日一早大約8點半就滿，到9點車子就排到了Hindhede Drive上；要麼趕在8點前到，要麼乾脆別停這裡，改停武吉知馬或Beauty World購物中心再走進來。此外還有一場從2025年10月到2026年1月的單獨停車場關閉，會讓車位更加緊張。

The other good window. Rain tends to arrive early and clear, leaving usable afternoons. This is also when haze can occur, which is worth checking rather than assuming.
