If you are a Singapore citizen, this is pay-as-you-wish — the museum invites you to name your own price rather than pay the S$12. We have found no other Singapore museum doing that.
Both ticket products are stamped valid until 31 Aug 2026, so the current pricing and voucher arrangement has a hard expiry and will need re-checking.
它是红点设计奖的新加坡分馆，里面两个展厅陈列着数百件获奖的产品与概念设计——家具、电子产品、包装，以及被重新构想的日常物件。跟对岸艺术科学博物馆那个免费大堂不同，这里进场要买票：成人S$12，其中含一张S$5的商店代金券。开放时间是周一到周五上午11点到晚上7点，周末两天上午10点到晚上7点，它于2017年从旧址麦士威路（Maxwell Road）搬到现在这个位置。
它沿海湾走一小段就到鱼尾狮，很容易并进滨海湾水岸一日游里。最近的地铁站是市中心站（Downtown，B出口），沿水岸走大约五分钟；不过海湾舫站（Bayfront）和滨海湾站（Marina Bay）距离差不多——你在哪条线上就用哪条，认准步道上那座独立的玻璃盒子，别走进MBFC的办公塔楼。
S$12的门票含一张S$5的商店代金券，且没有最低消费，所以如果你本来就打算买一件设计品，实际进场成本就降到约S$7了——而且博物馆的商店和咖啡馆都能免费进，不买票也行。
