滨海堤坝（Marina Barrage）位于滨海水道口、滨海湾的南缘，既是一座在用的水坝，也是一座公园。
出发前，有 4 件事要先知道
The Sustainable Singapore Gallery is closed all day on Tuesdays and shuts for lunch every day. The green roof and outdoor areas stay open.
The water playground closes without warning in heavy rain, lightning or for emergency maintenance — PUB suggests calling 6514 5959 first if that is why you are coming. It also does not open until 12.30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The green roof is completely exposed with no shade. Brutal at midday; late afternoon into the evening is the sensible time, and it stays open all night.
It is a long walk from the nearest MRT with limited public transport, so factor in the approach.
它当初建来是要把滨海湾变成一座淡水蓄水池、同时挡住潮水，而游客真正上去的地方，是坝顶那片草坡——一道敞开的斜坡，海风灌进来，正对着水面另一头的城市天际线。草坡和坝顶24小时开放、免费入场，人们上来放风筝、野餐、消磨一整个傍晚。里面还有一个可持续新加坡展馆（Sustainable Singapore Gallery），也免费，用互动展项讲新加坡的水和环境故事；开放时间为每天上午9点到下午6点，周二休息，中午12点到1点午休。
它在滨海湾花园以南约十分钟步程，两处很容易凑成一个下午。进去最快的走法，是从滨海湾花园地铁站（TE22）1号出口走那条有遮盖的地下通道，大约5分钟，而不是坐很多旧攻略还让你从滨海湾站搭的400路公交。
坝顶几乎完全没有遮荫，所以正午又晒、风筝也飞不起来。改在傍晚过后来，海风起来了才真能放风筝，还能看着天际线一点点亮灯——而且在滨海湾金沙有Spectra灯光秀的晚上，坝顶隔着水面就能免费、不用挤地看，比在金沙那侧的海边人挤人强多了。
