它所在的西部这一角，附近另一处较大的看点是虎豹别墅，从巴西班让站坐环线过去只隔一站。从巴西班让地铁站（环线，CC26）走A出口，穿过巴西班让路，沿Pepys Road上山——开车的人就别费劲找馆内停车位了，那是没有的，去坡下约100米处肯特岗公园（Kent Ridge Park）的免费C停车场停。
要避开的失误，是到了巴西班让地铁站就直接走：那是沿Pepys Road上坡700米、顶着大太阳的一段路，比地图上看着要远。开车的人注意馆内没有停车位，但肯特岗公园的免费C停车场就在门口约100米处；如果你宁愿靠双脚把这片风景挣来，也可以从肯特岗公园和南部山脊的空中步道（Canopy Walk）过来，那条路正好穿过当年真正的战场。
