Entry is by session — 10am, 1pm or 4pm — used to cap the crowd rather than to move you along, so once you are in you can stay until 6pm. Buy on SISTIC, at the counter, or by SISTIC hotline; groups of 13 or more go through the museum. Bring ID: the resident and concession rates are spot-checked at the door.

Closed on Mondays, and unlike most Singapore museums it stays closed when a public holiday falls on a Monday. Check before building a long trip out to Kent Ridge around it.
Last admission is 4.30pm even though the museum closes at 6pm. That 90-minute gap catches people out more than the closing time does.
Two official prices are live. SISTIC, which is where the tickets are actually sold, lists S$24 for a visiting adult; the museum’s own page lists S$27 and says that figure already includes the SISTIC booking fee. We quote the point of sale, so allow for up to S$3 a head more at checkout until the museum reconciles the two.
Single entry only. Step outside for lunch and you are buying another ticket, so eat before or after — no food or drink is allowed inside either.
No flash photography and no selfie sticks in the galleries. Ordinary photography is fine.

开放时间为周二到周日上午10点到下午6点，最后入场下午4点半，周一闭馆，逢公共假期周一也照常休息。它离肯特岗地铁站不远，紧挨肯特岗公园和南部山脊步道的西端。从肯特岗站（CC24）A出口出来到校园巴士站，坐免费的新国大校内接驳车（D2线）到博物馆站——比运营方推荐的“金文泰地铁站加付费96路巴士”那条路线又快又省。
门票分三个场次放出——上午10点、下午1点和下午4点——但下午4点半就停止入场，所以4点那场进去只剩半小时不到；建议直接在SISTIC上订上午或下午1点的场次，别掐着点来。还要提醒一句，现场柜台只收刷卡或NETS，不收现金，没提前订票的话记得带张卡。
