Local note

The bit the data can't tell you — the reason this page beats Google Maps.

The park is tiny and jammed with selfie crowds ~6–9pm. Go 7–8am: soft light, calm water for reflections, and almost nobody in your Merlion-plus-MBS shot. The classic 'water spouting at the skyline' composition only works from the front waterfront deck — from the sides the jet looks like it's going nowhere. A smaller 'Merlion cub' stands just behind the main statue and is easy to miss.
