I had to inform the Concierge service about their own city. The MRT is really excellent and cheap – buy a card if you stay 3+ days. Forget wine and check price of beer – can be S$4 to S$18. Internet access expensive unlike super airport. Big plus – convenient location!

The hotel has a great location and is connected to a small shopping Mall “Bugis Junction” with a great variety of food outlets. While most staffs are extremely friendly and helpful, there are some that need to focus on listening to guests particularly at check in. I stayed at the club floor, never the less the room looked tired and worn out. The breakfast in the lounge is ok, but nothing to write home about. In the main restaurant it is about the same. Singapore has so many great Hotels, next time I will just stay elsewhere.

The hotel was situated close to lots of eating locations, so for us, we simply ate and shopped around the area. If its a first time visit i’d definitely recommend going to this hotel. We planned 2 days of walking around the downtown area, visiting locations such as Arab Street, Little India, Lau Pau Sat Market, The Merlion, The Asian Historic Museum (not 100% sure about the name) and Chinatown (NOTE: Don’t visit Chinatown on a Sunday! Its pretty much closed). As for transportation, the Bugis Street MRT is only a few walks away. Most of the other locations a first time visitor will go can be reached by the MRT (apart from the Singapore Zoo, which I highly recommend as well).

My family spent our new year holiday in Singapore and had a 2 night stay in this hotel. Indeed i made a good choice as this hotel is within walking distance to Bugis MTR station. Visit to the places of interest in Singapore is very convenient by public transport. We took the train to Chinatown and took a walk to Arab Street to have a taste of the local food. Thumbs Up for this hotel.

This hotel is a delight. Was there for a 3 day business visit and found it to be conveniently located, well designed hotel with great shopping and entertainment spots like the Chijmes and Bugis Junction nearby. Had a great comfortable stay.
